If a single-member LLC is owned by someone who isn’t a US citizen or US resident, the IRS wants Form 5472 each year, filed with a pro forma 1120 by April 15.
Who files Form 5472, and what it costs
ITIN introduction: if you personally need a US taxpayer number, we connect you with an IRS acceptance agent.
When your EIN arrives, we introduce you to Bluevine or Airwallex, with your formation documents and EIN letter attached. Each partner decides who it accepts.
We may be paid a referral fee. Your price does not change.
Days. Pay by 3pm ET on a business day and we file that day; later, the next business day. The certificate comes back once the state approves it. The EIN follows: days with a Social Security number, 4 to 8 weeks without.
A few minutes at checkout: your email, the country you live in, whether you have a US Social Security number, and the company’s name. With the bundle’s address, one more step that week: Form 1583, checked against two IDs on a video call in your time zone, or at our desk.
Because we’re here. The filing, the agent, the address, the phone and the tax registration sit under one roof, with one team that answers. Form where the company works; investors sometimes ask for Delaware, and we form there too. A company formed in one state but run from another usually registers there too, with that state’s fee.
Form where the company works. A company formed here but run from another state usually registers there too, with that state’s fee. We form in every state: Just the LLC is $218 the first year there, our agent included, then $89 a year, plus that state’s fee at cost.
Yes, and it’s included: a single-member operating agreement, ready to sign, in your documents the day we file.
It follows who owns the LLC, not the SSN: the rule is under the two cards above. US resident here means a US tax resident: green card holders, and people who meet the IRS’s days-in-the-US test. It is due even with zero revenue, and the IRS penalty for missing it is $25,000 a form. We don’t prepare tax returns: a US tax preparer files it, usually $300 to $600 a year, and in January we introduce you to one. Tell us at checkout or in your account and we remind you before it is due.
If Iowa rejects the name, the rename is free.
Yes. Either the same LLC moves, where both states allow it, or you form in the new state and close this one. We tell you which fits, and the price, before anything is filed: forming in another state is $218 the first year with our agent there, closing in New Jersey $49, each plus the state’s fee at cost.
Our fee comes back within 14 days of the charge, no questions asked. State fees never do, and nothing does once a filing you asked for has gone to the state. After that, the service runs to the end of the period you paid for.
In another state, $289 the first year, then $269 a year, that state’s fee at cost. New Jersey renews at $214.99 a year. Leaving takes two clicks in your account.
